What is Flexo Print?

Flexographic or ‘Flexo’ print, as it is commonly known, is a high volume printing process used here at The Box Factory when printing onto corrugated boxes.

It's abit like ‘potato printing’. A print stereo picks up ink from a roller which is then applied to the printing surface (box).

A flexible printing stereo is wrapped around a rotating cylinder for each colour. The graphics and text are raised from the surface of the plate with only the raised areas of the plate being inked.
