As part of the commitment to improving our environmental footprint, we have installed a 200KWp Solar PV system to our higher consuming Berrington Road site!
Here are a few stats:
- Reduces our energy consumption at Berrington Road by nearly 20%.
- In the 8 days since it was commissioned, we have produced 5 MWh of electricity.
- Total CO2 emission reduction so far of 5 tonnes, equivalent to the carbon sequestered by 83 trees grown from seed for 10 years, or 6.5 acres of forest in one year.
- This is also equivalent to the CO2 emissions of 638,000 smartphone charges, and the greenhouse gas emissions of an average car driven for 12,405 miles.
