Carbon Neutral Delivery

Our delivery service is now entirely carbon neutral.

We are really pleased to announce that we are now offsetting all of the carbon generated by our deliveries.

We do this by calculating the CO2 generated by all of the diesel we use in our lorries each month (using the DEFRA UK Government GHG conversion factors for company reporting). We also calculate the CO2 generated by our deliveries on external hauliers. We then offset this with the carbon saved with our solar panel array and the balance via a partnership with The Woodland Trust as an ‘Official Woodland Carbon Partner’.

We chose this scheme as it is based in the UK and is subject to the government led Woodland Carbon Code. This government led scheme provides:

• A high quality, robust voluntary carbon standard.
• A transparent UK Woodland Carbon Registry.
• Robust science to predict and monitor carbon sequestration.
• Independent validation and verification of projects.
