Creating a Premium Presentation Box for The Symply Group

The Challenge

In October 2025, The Symply Group approached The Box Factory to create a premium presentation box showcasing a selection of its products to farm shop retailers across the UK.

The packaging needed to do more than protect the contents. It had to create a memorable unboxing experience that reflected the quality of The Symply Group brand.

The initial concept was based on a FEFCO 0427 presentation box with a precision die-cut internal fitting to securely hold the products. While this met the original brief, The Symply Group returned with a new direction, looking for a more distinctive presentation experience.

The revised brief called for a premium carry box that would open to reveal the products, creating a distinctive presentation while remaining practical and cost-effective to produce.

The Solution

Working closely with The Symply Group, The Box Factory's design team developed a bespoke carry box featuring a custom-designed internal fitting to securely hold each product in place during transit and presentation. The structure created the premium unboxing experience The Symply Group was looking for, while presenting the products together as a premium presentation pack.

Once the structural design had been approved, The Symply Group supplied the artwork for production. The Box Factory's design team reviewed the artwork against the die-cut structure and worked collaboratively with The Symply Group to ensure the finished design retained its visual impact while remaining suitable for production.

The Outcome

The finished packaging provided The Symply Group with a distinctive and premium presentation solution that reflected the quality of the brand while remaining practical and cost-effective to manufacture. The project demonstrated the value of close collaboration throughout the structural design and artwork process, resulting in packaging that presented the products securely and created a memorable first impression.
